Snapshots From Heaven…

I was not sure if Peter Robinson has a copyright on Snapshots from Hell… I am not really sure if am having an experience of a Hell. To me it has been a heaven. I have not lost that much of sleep as everyone seems to have from a 1 year MBA. I have not spent time immersing myself in the books of knowledge 24/7. But to add to this, its been over a month since I ventured out of my campus. After the I have not’s, I have lost a little bit of touch with my outside world. I have enjoyed every part of my journey for the past one month and of course, I have gained some knowledge and some more really good friends.

That was a brief I have and I have not’s of my one month at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. It has been an amazing journey so far on and off the books. Learning Financial Accounting, Microeconomics, Group Dynamics, Marketing management and of course Statistical Methods in one month is never an easy job. But trust me, for those of you who plan to do a one year MBA, ensure you come prepared to work hard, not to enjoy and study given that there will be hardly any breathing space!

In the one month, of meeting a diverse set of people, I have met people, who are book worms and love Library more than their hostel rooms, a set of people who detest rooms to avoid wife and kids ;), a set of people who do not want to go back home as college life is fun (may be that’s the reason a few people avoid books, even me), a set of people who until the end of the exam keep studying, studying and studying and end up just getting a 10% above the rest…

There is another set of people who are confused why they took a 1 year MBA, well, my words for them! You Chose It! I see them as potentials to write Snapshots from Hell – II and of course, the subscribers of my blog as prospects to buy them and my blog and intermediary to sell it…

Anyway, this entry was also just to point out to all the people who I have not mailed, called or ‘pinged’, that ‘I am Alive and Kicking’ and I am enjoying my studies with enough sleep… 🙂

Meanwhile Thyagi and Rekha are getting married the day after and sad that I cannot make it to their wedding. I wish them all the best in their life. I see one more positive of having a tight schedule… I need not worry about gift hunting that I mentioned in one of my earlier blogs. It feels like heaven!

    Well, u r a myth buster 🙂
A thought always encircle mine mind “What Next ?”
    Gt thru school Next Coll
    gt thru Coll Next Job
Into Job what next …. So, its a vicious cycle …
Getting Passionate would stop this cycle …., n that too passionate abt knowledge leaves no space for the question ” What Next ?”
Coz thirst of Knowledge wudn’t quench …….
